The City of Dallas, Department of Aviation recently completed an Airport Impact Analysis/Master Plan for Dallas Love Field Airport.

The City’s objective was to create a plan for the future development of Dallas Love Field Airport, while minimizing any disruption to the surrounding neighborhoods.

What the Impact Analysis / Master Plan is and is not.

The Master Plan was completed March 31, 2001, and City Council unanimously approved the Master Plan on April 11, 2001.  The final recommendations of the plan were developed with the help of outside experts and the Master Plan Advisory Committee, a highly diverse and representative group of area residents and businesses, tenants and aviation user representatives.  The MPAC, consultants and airport staff reached a consensus on the recommendation contained in the plan.  The Questions and Answers paper broadly outlines the Love Field Master Plan and addresses issues that were part of our study.  The Executive Summary provides a briefing of the key results and future plans for Love Field.
